Well Rested and returning to bliss · 7:06am Jan 9th, 2013
This holiday season brought the first vacation I have had in nearly 4 years, working 14 hours a day for 6 days a week... All I can say is, "I needed it." Many good times were hand, and more importantly, much world-weariness and fatigue was washes away in good beer and great friendships. A few issues still plague my mind, but i'll leave that for another time.
I feel I need to try and explain my hiatus as I attempt to return to production. When I was shot down by EqD, rather abruptly, it triggered a severe psychological reaction based on my long-standing trust issues, and the short version is I fell into a depression for a number of weeks. It was the first real, brain-chemically induced depression I have ever experienced, and I hope it was the last, because it was horrible. The main result was that I utterly lost my passion for anything, especially ponies. Not so much a lack of will, but an ever-so-worse lack of fucks to give at all. Until recently I couldn't even *force* myself to get excited about anything Pony (and believe me, I tried).
The vacation, along with the return of a long-lost friend and pillar of trusted writing support, has finally sparked the rebirth of my desires. The flame of pony passion, though tiny and frail at the moment, is once more aglow. Even now, it is lending its warmth to get me through the challenge facing my life-long passion for weaponry that is under attack by ignorant Sheep and corrupt officials in this worthless joke of a country I live in...
That being said, my return to production is still slow, and will be divided into two parts.
Objective A) the very slow, gradual process of amending the small mistakes to the published pieces. I still refuse to dumb-down my flourish, so those who dislike it are forewarned. These amendments will be to the small formatting errors i made and the simplification of my operatives' names in the prose. If there is one thing that I have come to realize though suggestions, is that very few people can follow and link military titles with characters as easily as i can. I understand this, and will be streamlining their names in the beginning chapters to allow for people to more easily connect with them.
Objective B) Well, quite simply, UPDATES!
Chapter 2.1 Outline is complete, beginning the rough draft tonight!
Also, a random question to be left unanswered I'm sure, lol-
Should I make up Phrase Titles for my chapters? Whats your opinion? Do they entice your appetite over the Plain-Jane numbers mine sport? Or is it a non-issue?
