Basically, this is just to tell people that if you want to give me advice on how to make my future stories better (because no matter what I am not going to take down old chapters and re-do them. I am too lazy for that, and it seems like the majority of people like those chapters just fine and I'm not going to change what most people seem to think is more than acceptable) please just send me a private message. I will read the message and try to use the information given to me to improve my future writing. Plus, this way, anyone who wants to give helpful advice can do so, and I won't have to worry about people dashing away from my stories because they read a bad review before they bother opening up the story itself. So, once again, just send me a PM if you want to talk, but also remember that I'll be more inclined to listen to you if you are polite in your message, and if you're being very rude and/or sarcastic (and I can understand sarcasm in text 90 percent of the time) I will likely not listen to your message outside acknowledging what you said. Basically, be polite and I'll be polite right back.
Now, before anyone says anything, I have no problem with negative feedback, as long as it is constructive feedback. The issue with this site, however, is that the reviews for a story are available to be read before one even opens up a chapter, meaning if someone sees a bad review, they might automatically think that the story isn't worth checking out.
Also, I will not be replying to any messages sent to me about advice, but I will read them. On the same note, please do not send me multiple messages that basically say the same thing. That is what I call spam and if I receieved too much of it, I will not read it. So, please, just send me one note with the information that you think will help me.
Ah, I see what you mean. That's true, I've noticed a lot of people go straight to the comments. I sometimes see a message saying "cool, I'll have to read this later" or something to that effect. But if they're posting that, it means they're in the comment section already...
I'll keep this post in mind from now. You, sir or ma'am, have just earned a 'stache. ...Now why can't we like blog posts!? I'll just have to add you to my faves then for compensation.
Edit: Or follow you. I'll learn how this site works eventually...
