Thunderbolts*: Anti-Heroes to Save the Day! (My Thoughts) · 7:21am May 6th
I'm going to be honest with you... this movie is a lot better than Black Widow movie.
While it's not exactly R-Rated, it's definitely Marvel's most serious and mature movie as it deals with heavy serious subjects with one of characters who is a drug addict.
Thank god they killed Taskmaster off! That version was doomed from the start and I actually thanked Ghost for killing a fucking plot device.
Bob/Sentry may be my favorite part of the movie and I'm glad that they went with Lewis Pullman than original choice, Steven Yeun... Yeun may be an amazing actor but I don't think he would be able to play Sentry like Pullman did.
The Void might be one of scariest MCU villain and I'm not exaggerating... if you ever see him, Run! 😨 He turn everyone into shadows!
The asterisk on the title is actually Thunderbolts' actual name.... The New Avengers.
The post-credit scene is very important as not only sets up Avengers: Doomsday but it have to do with Marvel's next film, The Fantastic Four: First Steps.
Overall, I enjoys it and I have good time.
Interesting.
I wasn't really interested in this film, since it made me think a little of Suicide Squad from DC, but it sounds like it still has some good points to help it stand out on it's own.
I also did hear good things about Lewis Pullman's acting chops, though I'm surprised that he replaced Steven Yeun. Not that it's a bad thing, of course; no offens to Yeun, but I will always remember him as Glenn from the Walking Dead.

So, Lewis Pullman keeps me from thinking of his past roles.
Thanks for sharing, buddy.

Unlike Suicide Squad movie which leans toward more comedy with a bit of drama, Thunderbolts leans toward more drama with a bit of comedy.
Thunderbolts actually deals with heavy subjects more than Suicide Squad.
Yeah, it's good thing he dropped out of the film.
Always happy to share.
Marvel's best film recently by far. The ending's pacing felt just a tad bit fast, but other than that, it was an amazing film. 12/10 would recommend to anyone to watch.
