So for reasons that were not actually vanity (this time) I wound up Googling my name. Then for reasons that were vanity, I scrolled through results after getting the one I wanted. I was shocked to find I have a TVTropes page! I knew that "Heart of the Forest" has a page, I did not know "Tension Points" has a page. If whoever made the pages is/are here, thank you/y'all! It touches me that folk(s) combed through all that writing to index stuff for TVT.
I know some people scoff at TVT, but I like it. While I do find focusing on tropes is often a detriment to writing, I don't think the site is a negative. I intended to use very few of the tropes listed on the page, including subverted tropes. But I won't say they aren't there, because some of them were absolutely intentional (subverting the abusive foster parents trope with Karst and Everett was intentional) and others were built on an understanding of literature that I've managed to pick up from reading and writing basically my whole life.
But while my style of writing is a very intuitive one, I know many don't intuit things as well. And while I would not advise studying TVT for writing, looking into tropes and what their purpose is can be a good thing to do. Plus the site is fun, and appeases my autistic brain haha.
Anyway, I had a blast reading those trope pages and decided to share a link for anyone curious. In other news, I am working on console modding for the most part but have been feeling the urge to write this past week, and this is furthering that urge. We'll see what comes of that, I still have another week of calculus 
But once that's done, I do hope to get back to writing something!
Oh, a minor point, I closed down my Patreon. I could no longer pretend like I'll actually use the platform properly. I appreciate everyone who supported me on there, but it largely just brought me stress as time went on...
Onto bigger and better things. I have some plans in the works which I'll just say that I might have an original fiction short story published alongside some other horse word alumni in the coming months, though I haven't settled on what that'll be. And as for horse word writing, Satan knows I want to, but I'm so preoccupied with so much stuff. Maybe I'll make a blog post and just ramble about the stories I want to work on, if anyone wants that. Get those thoughts out of my head and all that lol. But for now, just wanted to share this tropes page!
