Destiny Chaser (also a bonus track) · 5:59am March 17th
I know RD2012 saw my blog post last May, but I can't recall if I've directed him to anyone else.
Read this man's story and its sequels, please. They are worth your time, and deserve a lot more attention than they've gotten.
Maybe they aren't for everyone, but I simply don't care. I'll champion Destiny Chaser for as long as I'm on this site.
That means indefinitely.
He's also a masterclass at original characters.
Ignore the cover art, ignore the short description, but do read the featured reviews in the long description.
Did you expect me to post a blog without music? Perish the thought.
"Volare", from the 1989 album Mosaïque by Gipsy Kings.
A cover of an Italian song...by a band who are from an ethnically Spainish region of France...whose lyrics are sung in both Spanish and English.
Also a chorus to die for.
Love you too bud, thanks for your support.

I don't care if I get carried away with it sometimes; it's simply necessary.
Welcome.
Story has been added to Read It Later.
Song's rad

Thanks; hope it doesn't disappoint. I came across it for the first time through one of the most random ways imaginable, and have always been grateful for that moment of pure chance.
Radical.

Hope it doesn't either.
¡Fantastico!
Story has finally been added to my "Read Later" bin.

Thanks on both counts.
I've been aware of that story for quite a while now, due to you. I'm sure I'll read it eventually, barring any unexpected upheaval of reality.

Great acoustic work here; I especially enjoyed those solos.
Agreed on that chorus; even just the words "volare" and "cantare" themselves is nice.
Looking at the original lyrics alongside a translation of them was fun.

As I should have guessed; take your time.
Thank someone IRL for this one, actually. Haven't heard much of their music, but what I've heard is fantastic.

And so, the interpersonal ripple effect shows in full.
