Hello again,
word count to goal: 65,040 words/340k words
This week has been a bit of a nightmare. Realized there was some irreparable damage done to an alt-alt account thanks to some anti-ferals. That is going to be a mess to repair but we're busy with other stuff so that's fine for now. Also had a downer moment when we realized all the lesbian pony sfm stuff we were seeing on youtube, was just reuploads, nothing new; meaning there's still only six of us in the digital art space. Our kind is going extinct, and unless a gen 6 comes out 'even if it comes out this may not fix it' there's very little hope this will make a comeback.
It led to us starting to wonder if there was any point to what we're doing? We still haven't really found a good solid answer to that, but we are continuing. It's a bit slower paced than before, but we are not going to stop, never give up, never surrender.
As for what we have accomplished. We finished Cheerilee's route, so that means all the choices stemming from Fluttershy's route are done. We are now working on Lyra and Bonbon's route, yes Twilight may very well become their third wheel based on player choices. It's also heavily inspired by voices of the void so it will be a unique story route altogether and we are trying to make that one stand alone for nanorimo, the version for the full game will be changed so that people can have unique experiences.
Slowly as we continue writing, we are adding things and discovering parts of the world we didn't quite know before. Such as Trixie's terrible family, Twilight's Terrible hunger, and perhaps the cryptid species known as 'the human'
Anyway, just wanted to show we're still working on this, hopefully next week's update is more cheerful. XD
As always thanks for reading.
I want to personally thank you for all the work you have done over the years. I am a recent joinee of the fandom. I joined in october of 2023 after a motorcycle crash. Your stories, and the stories of the others here, helped me cope. And while i am sad that i have to agree with you on the fandom possibly dying out. I want to see it preserved, and hopefully reinvigorated. I have plans to visit as many Conventions this year as i can. I have plans to visit the last Babscon. Please keep up the good work. I have enjoyed your stories, and have reread some of them a few times.
I am also looking forward to the game your are developing, while i have not "kept up" on it, the reason for that is when it comes out after it is completed, i want to experience it as if i just came across it for when it is released. I await the full release.
Yours in Harmony,
Eternal Link
