So I don't have the mental fortitude at this moment...

...to turn this into a full story, but I guess this concept has been weighing on my mind for some time, and I even dreamt about it last night. Go figure, it's my first full EQG dream in a long, long time.

Warning 1: This is going to be long. And a bit stream-of-consciousness-y.

    Currently @ Mexico City Airport

Alas, my visit is at an end. It's been pretty fun visiting family and friends, but the time has arrived to leave once more and head home.

If you guys don't see an arrival update by Thursday evening, contact your local representative or news network. (Or both). Because I'll be preemptively blaming TSA for being jerks.

    Update!

Today I remember that time I hugged Susan Ivanova

I was in London at the time, so it was probably around 2002.

Remembering Babylon 5 · 5:55pm February 28th

It's so pleasing to see that Babylon 5 is resurfacing lately. It's tv series from my childhood, from cherished times

Have you watched semi-recent The Road Home? What are your impressions?

remember it, loved it, have bought it on DVD and still loving it

I have all but season 4... haven't been able to get my hands on it, much to my regret.

Amazing how this seemed almost unrealistic when it was new but right now it seems very real. Hopefully we don't continue to see the arc being mirrored.

Yep! I watched it as soon as it came out. :rainbowdetermined2: I enjoyed it, lacked a bit of the 'oomph' the series did, but then again it was decades later, and a movie, not a series. But it was nice to see a bunch of "what if" scenarios. I liked Ivanova and Londo chilling and drinking during the apocalypse

My favorite sci fi series. So many memorable moments

I'm watching it for the first time with my friend who's seen it about 7 times. He's doing it for me. We're up to season 5.
It's hit and miss, but good over all.

The curse of B5 seemed to be real.
I love Londo and G'kar's relationship.

I remember watching The Gathering on TV when the show first was testing out then a year or two later the First Season. Missed the rest as I spent the next few years overseas but many years later I got them all on DVD. Still watch it all again every few years.

Amber Spark showed me the entire series and I came to love B5. Masterclass in story and characters. And yeah, this is a little poignant at the moment.

I've loved the show for as long as I can remember.
