    Tape Deck's Mixtape: Track 312

UFP (Ultra Fast Pony) 19: The David Bowie Drinking Game.

I finally checked that series out one day a little while ago after the who knows how many clips Juxtaponition has posted from it in the past, and it's downright hilarious.

All voices are the same guy. Yes.

1982: Release of the album Blackout by Scorpions

I care not for single edits of songs in the slightest, with very few execeptions.

Single remixes, however, are an entirely different story. No "precious listening time" is lost with those.

Somepony sure needs some hugs. :(

(A picture of my computer screen; and the image itself on there is a black-and-white version of one of the icons available to use for bookshelf identification on this site.)

Again, ponified Epona is somehow just one of the cutest things in existence.

Destiny Chaser (also a bonus track)

I know RD2012 saw my blog post last May, but I can't recall if I've directed him to anyone else.

Read this man's story and its sequels, please. They are worth your time, and deserve a lot more attention than they've gotten.

Maybe they aren't for everyone, but I simply don't care. I'll champion Destiny Chaser for as long as I'm on this site.

Anyone remember that 65 movie? Still haven't seen it. · 6:37am February 13th

Nurse Pone.

"Crying In Your Face", from the 2005 EP Analord 5 by AFX. Analord 1-11 are all things that exist as well.

The artist is certainly who you're thinking it is.

I see no issue here. (had to edit January's in myself)

65 movie?

Some sort of movie with Adam Driver (Kylo Ren, The Force Awakens) seemingly crashing a spaceship on Earth back when dinosaurs still existed

Came out a few years ago; only made mention of it because I needed something for "65".

Very cool song. If I didn't download most of my music, I'd probably be a "top listener" for AC/DC and AleXa.

Facebook offers "Top Fan" badges like candy, after you "like" maybe five posts from the same page. I have a few that I haven't accepted. I am moderately proud of my TF badge from AleXa's page.

I would use the YT Music app if I could get an ad-blocker for it. Thank Celestia for uBlock Origin.

I don't use it on my computer, but I've never gotten an ad when using YouTube/YT Music through the Brave browser, but you lose access to comments for some reason. (And I just use the YouTube app for regular videos anyways)

And thanks, per usual.

I've seen the movie once.

I like the song.

Was it any good (the film)?

Thanks.

5831271
Been a while, but I think I remember liking it.

I forgot that film existed, shortly after learning of its existence.

Nurse Pone.

AFX is consistently interesting. I like the way this one shifts from high to low energy. That one lyric line is a thing.

That's an impressive awards collection!

I got one of those for Talking Heads after that month where I listened to 77 a half-dozen times or so.

Same.

Nurse Pone

Maybe not every one of his songs are great, but interesting they all still are.

Nice. I've probably listened to Speaking In Tounges the most out of any of their albums (though that doesn't mean it's my favorite of theirs.)

5833181
Ah. "Pull Up The Roots" is where I started listening through the Mixtape. I've listened to that song several times since, but not all that recently.

5833323
Thanks for giving me an excuse to listen to that great song again.

Quite a good first song to hear from me (at least in any consistent way), it seems.

(As in, I of course remember you listening to Yes's album Close to the Edge about a month before that.)

5833329
You are most welcome that I reminded you of a thing that you did.

Yeah, and my introduction to listening to Talking Heads, as well!

(Of course. I doubt either of us will forget that introduction very easily.)

5833332
I think the first song I heard from them was "Once in a Lifetime".

I wish I could tell my past self that "random guy who appeared out of nowhere" (basically being sarcastic, not a detriment to you) would become one of my favorite people to talk to on this site.

5833337
I'd technically heard some of their songs as parts of films, but only realized that after listening to the band purposefully.

That's definitely not a detriment; I did appear out of nowhere, and it was seemingly at random. Thanks for the complimentation, though; you're definitely one of my favourite portions of the interwebz by this point.

However, that wish presents a hilariously absurd scene:

You are just chilling, back in mid-2024, scrolling Fimfiction, when a sudden time-flash interrupts your discovery of a weird comment on your Birthday blog. It's you, from the future! And you apparently came all that way about that one weird comment. Then, as soon as you're finished delivering a prophecy of friendship, you go back to the future. And now past you has got to deal with that confusion.

one of my favourite portions of the interwebz by this point

Just thought it through myself, and that certainly would have been quite the shock to experience.

At least I wouldn't have to quite drive myself insane trying to solve a problem that didn't exist <cough> Twilight.

I was completely unaware that I blatantly stole the plot of that episode. :rainbowhuh:

5833681
I mean, it's not like its an uncommon idea, but it's weird how exact you actually were.
