I'm pretty sure that I already put one of theboss092503's fics into the 'not quite in the not-a-contest' folder (and maybe blogged about it, too), and I see there's another one that I haven't read yet which would also probably qualify. I give y'all blog posts about working on cars and pepper them with cute pony pictures to lure you in, and here he's writing about a pony with a car and loads of technical details and relatable struggles--my carpet also has grease stains on it, and so do some of the doors to my house.

This is also very much a fic which is what it says on the tin and we can all respect that. It's got car talk, it's got cuddles, and a budding relationship.
