Countdown to Christmas #20 · 7:15pm Dec 20th, 2024
Don't get me wrong, this is a great song, but the intro's the best part.
"Animal" from the 1987 album Hysteria by Def Leppard.
"The Christmas Song" from the 1961 album The Nat King Cole Story by Nat King Cole.
I know both of those songs. Def Leppard is solid 80d hair band rock.
"Animal"-A fantastic song. I always get it confused with Van Halen's "Panama."
It's funny that you posted Def Leppard, as I just found this meme in my Facebook feed yesterday:

(Spoiler tag used because the stump of his arm is kinda hard to look at).
I prefer Mel Tormé's version of "The Christmas Song," but I love that one, too.
Like Animal. Not my favorite Def Leppard song, but it is good
I've heard... I think cover of the Christmas one. It's alright.

Rock-solid (or even glam metal-solid).

That's hilarious.

Not my absolute favorite either, again, it's that darn intro.
(Still a very good song.)
Awww, cute pinkie!
Dude that is freaking fracking lovely music in “The Christmas song”!
And that voice :0
Happy pink is good pink.
"Animal" is one of the Def Leppard songs I've enjoyed more, actually. The whole sound is good, and that chorus is lyrically fun.
I didn't recognize the Christmas Song's name, nor the artist, so I was not prepared for the completely wonderful and familiar song that it is. I'm certain I've heard a number of Cole's works, but I don't think I can name a single other one off the top of my head.

Def Leppard be good.
It's a tad unassuming for it's name to just be "The Christmas Song", but that's what it is.
