Cackling Moron

"Fluff" in the same way what collects under the sofa is fluff.

The paradox is fluff is that you just want to do the fun parts, but the fun parts aren't fun unless they're juicy, and you can't get the juice without putting the graft in first to set up the juice, and graft isn't fun fluff is fun, but you can' get the fluff without the graft. That's a paradox.

... or maybe I just skipped breakfast. Hmm.

I don't really like anything I've ever written, obviously, here or elsewhere, but sometimes I'll remember that one time I did a bit where Celestia wears underpants and twangs them and they hit a dude in the face and I'm like yeah, that bit was alright.

    That's acceptable.

Sometimes, in an idle way, I consider that, were I the sort of person concerned with notoriety, I'd likely make better use of more popular characters - to say nothing of tags and (gasp) pictures for the stories.

And those sometimes I am glad I am the way I am.

Oh! And proper descriptions for the stories! Those too. Those'd help.

With my child on an apparent WALL-E watching binge I am reminded that it contains a dynamic that is a very particular soft spot of mine:

Was in a pet shop the other day. They had a big box of things you could throw for you dog. Among them were branded items. Among the branded items were MLP products.

I'm not sure if it's me, but it feels oddly grim to purcahse a Rainbow Dash exclusively for your dog to maul.

    Suppose there's a possibility they'll be gentle, but still. It's a risk, isn't it?

That bat-pony story? Your Cozy Glow getting adopted stories? That story where Celestia nurses a guy to health and doesn't tell him she's royalty so someone treats her like a normal person; that story where Starlight helps a guy out of depression; that story where the MC sees the heat death of the universe?

I'd say there's plenty I like about what you've written here. You should be proud of your works; you've been a bright spot in the life of this humble reader for being so you in everything you write.

I'd genuinely forgotten about the Starlight one and it took me a second to remember it existed.

As long as someone is picking up what I'm putting down that's gravy, that part I like, I'll take that. Always nice (if bemusing) to be appreciated somehow.

Even if I made people cry that one time, apparently...

I remember when I was new to this fandom and just started lurking on this site(hadn't made an account yet), I kept finding thede awesome stories that'd just put a smile on my face every time. Much later once I made an account I wanted to go back and find those stories to add them to my favorites and I was absolutely floored to find out they were all by the same person, this weird, hilarious, awesome Cackling Moron.

Now a days I often go and re-read a lot of your stuff. Like Clockwork/Bits and Pieces and Sniffles/What Have I Done to Deserve This are some of my all time favorites things to read. Heck, Like Clockwork is half the reason I even made an account.

Even if you don't like what what you've written, there are those of us here that find your works brighten our day so thank you.

You lot are going to make me blush...

Since we're giving our opinions of your writing. If I was cursed and forced to read only a single person for the rest of my life, I'd pick your stuff. It's pretty goooood.

You are a fantastic writer, especially since your stories make ME feel all kinds of emotions, that's not an easy thing to do, (either of them). Thank you for your work, and here's to many more.

I think you are a wonderful writer. Not just because your stories are well written but because you have A Voice. You have a style that is uniquely yours and it is one that a great many of us enjoy. Take all these accolades as a present from us to you. Happy Holidays!
