I just made an honest mistake, okay?
Yeah, forgot to give this blog series their own title until last night. The previous ones have all been updated.
"Love Shack" from the 1989 album Cosmic Thing by the B-52s.
Apparently this next song might have some sort of "love it or hate it reputation", but there's always a middle ground.
Nonetheless, I belong to the "love it" category.
"Wonderful Christmastime", a 1979 non-album single by Paul McCartney, recorded during the sessions for the 1980 album McCartney II.

The running theme for the B-52s seems to be "disreputable".
"Wonderful Christmastime" was nice. Hating it seems an unnecessary reaction. I thought it sounded like an Electric Light Orchestra song.
I know both those songs. Love Shack was a big hit, it reached #3 on the Hot 100 in 1989.

Wow, you actually posted a song that I've heard before! That almost never happens. "Love Shack" is a song that I loved as a kid, then hated for a while. I wouldn't say that I "love it" now, but I do like it.
"Wonderful Christmastime" has always been one of my favorites.

Yeah Tape Deck has introduced to me many awesome new songs, though plenty of times from bands/singers I do know that did have other songs that were hits which I’m more knowledgeable about. Interesting he chose a hit song this time. Shows how open minded and awesome he is that he’ll consider listening to and sharing a very wide variety of types of music, I love it
