Thanksgiving Greetings and Contest Reminder

Hey folks! Sorry there was nothing from me most of this month. My father got pneumonia earlier this month and had a lot of difficulty fighting the disease off, so most of my attention was toward that rather than anything on this site. I'll probably be more active in December, particularly in discussing my plans for 2025.

I'll also be participating in Jinglemas, the Christmas story-swap contest that's been a staple of this website for several years now. I've done six entries over the last six years, and I wanted to let you all know about it so you could participate too if you wanted. You can read the registration and writing rules here.
