Bonus Song #1: Def Leppard - Rock Of Ages
From the 1983 album Pyromania
It was in Def Leppard before it was in The Offspring. (both songs are fire, though)
61 years ago, on November 1st, 1963, Def Leppard drummer Rick Allen was born. Honestly, while I do really like this band, I would've probably skipped over this birthday. If it wasn't for the fact that I once heard that dude lost his arm and kept drumming. ONE-ARMED DRUMMER. I mean, THAT is freaking awesome!!! Definitely up there with Rich Beddoe, Neil Sanderson, Travis Barker, Lars Ulrich, Tommy Lee, and Dave Grohl for one of my favorite drummers.
Not on this album, though - he still had two arms here; the next album was his first with un brazo. thank you Google Translate!
Bonus Song #2: Mahito Yokota, Koli Kondo - Gusty Garden Galaxy
From the game Super Mario Galaxy
17 years ago, on November 1st, 2007, the game Super Mario Galaxy was released for the Wii. It is one of my FAVORITE Mario games (not THE favorite, but I refuse to disclose that until either A) we reach it's next anniversary, or B) I do a top ten Mario games. Whichever comes first)
Bonus Song #3: Skillet - Ash In The Wind
From the 2024 album Revolution
Skillet just dropped a new album, with 10 songs on it. This one right here? Is my favorite. Overall, the album is 10/10. Only 'weak' one imo is the third track, All That Matters. And that one's not even that bad, I just think the lyrics are kinda cheesy. Not bad per se, I understand and like the message, the lyrics were just too much for me. If you like this song, I guarantee you'll like the whole album. Consistent bangers.
I claim credit for telling Cage some details about the arm fact.
He didn't mention me in this blog. What a shame. Sarcasm.
Oh, by something being "first" you mean the count-off, right?
Who could hate this song? Always a great one.
The soundtrack from that game is great, and Gusty Garden Galazy never disappoints.
(Though, I mainly just remember it from playing it, I don't believe I've ever listened to the ost on its own.)
Yeah, like I've said before, I've been recommended Skillet by three or four different people in total, so I'll probably listen to the album with "Monster" on it sometime soon.
As "Ash in the WInd", it was pretty good.

Oh yes, Tape Deck did indeed give me some extra details. I was under the impression that he joined the band with only one arm; which I now know he lost it while in the band.
The next album that was released after Pyro was the first album to be recorded after he lost his arm, yes.
Honestly same. I didn't really know the names of any of the tracks until I started looking (part of the reason why it was so close to 9:00 p.m. Pacific.
Yes, do so. Awake is an amazing album

Oh, my question was referring to the part that I think was sampled in Pretty Fly For A White Guy.
Pacific time, interesting. I'm Central.

Oh, that. Yes, the Gunter gleiben glauchen globen was what I was referring to
Gunter glieben glauchen globen
Darn, I got distracted and forgot to leave a comment. Cool songs.

That's okay! I actually completely forgot that you didn't on this one
