Happy Birthday, Peter New and Tabitha St. Germain · 3:59pm October 30th
Today we have not one but two separate birthdays for voice actors: One is for Peter New and the other is for Tabitha St. Germain. Peter New is the talented man who voiced Big Macintosh, Dr. Whooves (also called Time Turner), Igneous Rock, and a host of other smaller characters across all nine seasons of FiM. Tabitha St. Germain, meanwhile, needs no introduction: She is the talented woman who voiced Rarity, Princess Luna, Granny Smith, Mrs. Cup Cake, Pound Cake, Suri Polomare, Nightmare Moon, Photo Finish, Aloe and Lotus, Derpy, Flurry Heart, and various other smaller characters across all nine seasons of FiM. Interestingly, Peter and Tabitha have had a few joint roles: They were the voices of Hondo Flanks and Cookie Crumbles, and the voices of Jet Set and Upper Crust. In addition, for Pony Life they took on new roles: Peter New became the voice of Discord, and Tabitha St. German voiced Spike.
The two have had lots of voice acting roles in other productions too: Peter New has voiced characters such as Sunil Nevela the mongoose in the 2012 Littlest Pet Shop reboot, Air Man in Mega Man EX Network, and Guts Man in a more recent Mega Man cartoon. Tabitha St. Germain, meanwhile, has voiced such characters as Pepper Clark (also from the 2012 Littlest Pet Shop reboot), Martha the dog, Goten (in the Ocean/Westwood dub of Dragon Ball Z, along with being the sole voice of Gotenks), Scootaloo and Minty in the G3 MLP series, Captain Flamingo, and Professor Lucy Suzuki in Transformers: Cybertron.
Happy birthday to you both, Peter and Tabitha. I hope you continue to be blessed with many great voice acting roles for years and years to come.
Happy birthday to the both of them!
