It feels like it's gotten worse the last few months. I never got any before this year, and then I've gotten probably at least half a dozen, if not more. It's easy enough to ignore, but when you see that little PM notification, you get excited, until you find out it's another bot.

If the person who came up with the definition of insanity didn't do so when they did, these scammers would've brought it on themselves when we describe them with the word and invent it ourselves.

A bunch of them flocked to me after a new story I published was featured...
I've found one sure fire way to weed out the fake from the real artists. Ask them for a favorite scene from one of your stories. It doesn't need to be super detailed, but if they can name a genuine one, then they're real.
