I am not religious in the slightest, and I absolutely HATE Christian music. However - Christian rock specifically fucking ROCKS.
Also NF but I don't really think of him as a "Christian rapper", but rather more of a "rapper who is Christian"

Still researching, but soon I will start adding important events for dates!

Awesome freakin' song!!

I agree with you about Christian rock being really good. I was surprised to learn that Flyleaf was Christian rock. (Even though Lacey Sturm insists that they're just Christians who play rock.)

I consider myself "moderately religious," and I can't stand the music on my local "Christian music" radio station.

I've actually heard this before...on a 7 hour+ playlist that someone here on Fimfiction made and gave me a link to...because of course that's something I would do. (Still going through it, actually, and no, it wasn't made specifically for me, that would be insane.)

Never knew it was Christian though. Huh.

You made me curious, as I have never actually thought about what makes this specific one Christian (I usually tend to not think about the religious undertones of religious rock/metal songs, for reasons that are probably obvious after this post), so I looked it up.

It's a song about being fake and putting on a face for people that's not the real you. But it's basically about the nature of sin and the nature of the divine, which is the duel nature we have as Christians.
