Beetlejuice Beetlejuice: Tim Burton at his finest! (My Thoughts) · 2:43am September 16th

I recently watched the movie with my parents and I got to say that this is one of the best Legacy Sequels... I think I love it more than the first one.

After his not so good 2010s decade, Tim Burton make a comeback with Beetlejuice Beetlejuice!

I love that it expands on the world of afterlife while exploring Lydia's life after the event of the first film.

And if you thought Michael Keaton was too old to play his iconic character? Guess again! He's still got it and me and my parents enjoyed Michael Keaton's performance.

You can tell Tim Burton really enjoyed making this movie more than any of his recent movies. (Burton said he almost considered to retire after his disastrous filming of Dumbo remake but his work for Wednesday and especially Beetlejuice Beetlejuice helps him to regain his love for filmmaking)

Overall, I highly recommend everyone to watch this awesome movie! :pinkiehappy:

Glad you enjoyed buddy. :pinkiehappy:

I heard that Michael Keaton didn't miss a beat stepping back into the shoes of Beetlejuice, and it's nice to hear that even a few years later, he's still more than capable of slipping back into the character with no trouble.

Extra fun fact: I heard from James A. Jannisse of Kill Count fame that apparently, Michael Keaton's performance as Beetlejuice was partially inspired by Bill Moseley's work as the character Chop Top in the Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2:

Whether it's true or not, both managed to turn in stellar performances that I enjoyed in both films.
