    In case you missed it…

Someone asked me the other day why SciTwi’s nickname in Homecoming is Sunshine. In story, it was given to her by her grandmother, but both in story and out of story, it was really simple:

you are my Sunshine/my only Sunshine/you make me happy/when skies are gray

It’s now mid September, and there are a lot of things in the works for me.

I stepped down from the readership position at work that had me running 60-70 hour weeks just so I wouldn’t go mad. I’m set tingly back into a comfortable 35-40 hour weeks and can feel my energies recharging.

    Strike, fade, run

“Striking, fading and running. Each of these are three well used moves, my Lady.” Twilight spoke. “Most importantly, running.”

“Why would I run?” Rarity huffed, still bent over slightly and catching her breath.

    April, with many a day…

So I just spent from the third through today (sort of, still have some driving to do) on holiday. Went to Dallas to see the Eclipse in totality, swung though Hot Springs for… well, the hot springs, and finally St Louis for a lovely riverboat dinner before bidding the Boyfriend farewell and starting the trip home.

    Well, I started it...

All Good Things... has commenced. I may have a chapter of it up tonight.

I really want to start closing out the unfinished stories, but sometimes you just can't get back into the flow for them. Sorceress and the Siren is one, Into the Wilds is another. Which is sad cause I love writing Azure.

It’s now mid September, and there are a lot of things in the works for me.

I stepped down from the readership position at work that had me running 60-70 hour weeks just so I wouldn’t go mad. I’m set tingly back into a comfortable 35-40 hour weeks and can feel my energies recharging.

As evidence there are three new RWBY stories up on my AO3 page and drafts for more chapters of All Good Things… and possible rewrites of Remedial Studies here.

But, things will have to come in their end time as I also have book two of Wizardry to finish editing and format for sale.

There is also a coming move. The eventual plan is to wind up in Washington State in early May or June. But there a lot of work going into this move that will keep me away from the keyboard as much. I will try and post something as oft as I can, but it might be far between.

As for new innovations for the stores, I chose voice analogues for some OCs, such as Gleam Star, Sorla, River, and Serene/Tabula Rasa. I’m still not sure for Middy, but I’m searching my data banks:

Gleam Star - Avery Brooks
Sorla - Gal Gadot
River - AJ Michalka
Serene - Caitlin Glass
Midnight - I have been leaning towards Anya Taylor-Joy, but I’m not sold yet.

As usual, I’m open to questions and what not.

Will you be okay?

Glad you're not getting ground into the dirt anymore. TBH, I couldn't do an 80 hr week.

Glad your creative juices are flowing again.

Yay! Soon you’ll be home here in the PNW!

I will likely be kidnapping you for tea once in a while.

If it's not gonna be JUST tea, can I get in on that? You'll have to come to get me from the East Coast, though...

Just tea. We’re both taken.

I suspect I can live with this arrangement!

Can I have a link to your AO3 account? I would like to check out those rwby stories you mentioned.

I get the feeling an incorrect assumption was made...
I only said "not JUST tea" because I don't like tea. I'm more of a soda+water guy.

Never imitated never replicated. Or something

As a tea drinker, I must say blasphemy. Am actually trying to cut back on soda as up my overall water intake.

I know the feeling about soda and hydrating, but Rose?

I sat in the lounge of an American castle, wore a ridiculous hat just so my parents, my brother, sister-in-law, and our niece, wouldn't be asked to leave, all to find out the hard way that tea in general, not just Brisk, tastes kinda awful to my palate.

I respect your liking for it, and do not think less of you for it, but you kinda stepped out of your lane there, my friend.
