The genders for my Yaks would be all male. Two would be twin brothers ( With two different weapon styles ), while the Third would be their father, who's highly experienced on hand-to-hand combat and brutality.

And despite what you said that "everybody" has magic inside them, despite not much physical evidence like the unicorns, alicorns, changelings, hippogriffs/seaponies, sirens, etc.. using magic on screen.

I still think fighting hand-to-hand or using special weapons that is anti-magic, would still kick scorpan's ass!

As for the reveal of the weapons. It depends if guns actually exist?

If not, classic medieval weapons with anti-magic runes like swords, spears, hammers, mace's, etc.... would do.

Uhh small problem the first one was a zebra female and scouts is male and the cat folk is female although I have no problem with her being a dragon
