Season Eight Episode Reviews: Molt Down

This week is a Spike episode? What a re-”molt”-ing development this is!

Let's look at “Molt Down,” the episode that will surely be perfectly normal and have no long-lasting repercussions on a character's appearance.

Season Eight Episode Reviews: Break Up Break Down

I dread going into this week's episode. For today, we discuss matters of the heart. Romance, love, heartbreak, and all that rot. Which means we run right into the most loathsome of all fandom constructs, the kind of thing that destroys friendships and leaves the most brilliant of minds curled up helplessly in a corner, foaming from the mouth:

    SHIPPING.

Season Eight Episode Reviews: Non-Compete Clause

We've had a string of good episodes the last few weeks. Whether it be shapeshifting seaponies, an actual Celestia episode, or discovering Starlight's dark phase, we've had lots of fun and plenty of laughs.

Today's episode is about Applejack and Rainbow Dash competing.

    The good times are over.

Season Eight Episode Reviews: Horse Play

So hey, it's a new episode. Surely nothing to be excited about. Just another standard episode of a cartoon pony show.

    Only it's a CELESTIA EPISODE!

Prepare for extra spicy biased scoring as we look at Best Princess' newest episode, “Horse Play!”

Merry Christmas · 8:01am Dec 25th, 2012

Well, it's December 25th once again. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all of you.

Now if you'll excuse me, I must now settle in for a full day of opening presents, drinking cocoa, and doing what I've done every year for the last few: sit down and watch a marathon of A Christmas Carol, Miracle on 34th Street, and both Christmas episodes of Mystery Science Theater 3000, with plenty of ponies sandwiched in between. How about all of you? How will you be spending this most festive of holidays?

Happy holidays! I'll be re reading fanfiction and brushing up my own for EQD

Already got Muppets Christmas Carol watched. Micheal Caine as Scrooge. Represent. :ajsmug:
Tommorrow is presents and Baileys. :rainbowwild:

Merry Christmas to you as well! Or would you prefer a Happy Hearth's Warming! Well it's that snowy time of year again. Where ponies go nag their parents to buy them their desired gifts. And feast on Turkey.. oh wait.. No. Well what I'll be doing is helping decorate the castle with my sister, putting up the festive lights and spreading the Christmas cheer. While making sure the Moon is at its brightest for this special day. Hm is there anything you want for this Christmas InsertAuthorHere? I hope you get what you wished for.

Have a very Merry Christmas!!!!!!!
Got a headache for reading too much so....... A very Merry Sleep time is what i'll do.... :twilightsheepish:

Happy Christmas to you too! I will have family time today.

Merry Christmas, dude! I plan on sitting on my butt while playing video games all day and just generally not doing anything productive at all.

Polishing off chapter 3 of my story and a Christmas special side story, 5,000 miles from my family. =/

As per family tradition, I shall be waiting until the 3rd day of christmas for actual celebratin'. Most of us are working the official 2.
Then we shall be havin' the dinner and the music and the general having fun :pinkiehappy:

I'll be playing games with the family. And possibly flipping tables. Or having them flipped on me. We're a vicious bunch of card players :pinkiecrazy:

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas and happy new year, mate!
And to celebrate I'll play you the song of my people.

Possibly the only Christmas song I haven't gotten sick of hearing.

Spending the morning with the folks and my bro and then driving back home to go to work tomorrow. The usual.

Getting presents consisting of notebooks, notebooks, and a iPad case that doesn't fit, giving some artwork I did, and also recovering from my younger cousins antics, which included a toy helicopter slamming on my head.

im going to read the book i got and play around with the TARDIS mug that i got, because apperently mom says im not supposed to drink out of it, even if it is a mug...

Well, the plan had been to finally take some time to myself after three straight weeks of working overtime at my job. I was going to work on the next chapter of Gala, I was going to sleep a bunch, and I was going to close out the day with Les Miserables at the theater.

Then my brother shows up at my house yesterday at about seven. "Merry Christmas," he says, "Mom's in the hospital."

She's fine! Just getting that out there, she's fine, but we were still there to 11:00. Then apparently she and my brother are planning on spending all Christmas day at my place. Which is currently a mess as I was not expecting company. And I've got nothing remotely resembling Christmas dinner. And apparently my mom is planning on spending all day tomorrow here as well. And I feel like a huge heel for not wanting this after she went to the hospital, even though it was just a stomach bug and probably not something she eve needed to go to the hospital for.

The worst part, of course, is that they didn't know that this was a surprise. Not that my mom or brother told me that they were coming over: I was just supposed to assume this. My house is apparently an open house every Christmas and I'm in the wrong for not automatically assuming that they'd be coming over.

...I just wanted to sleep and write, it's like the universe itself doesn't want me to work on Gala...:raritydespair:

Christmas time, is here.
Happiness, and cheer.:pinkiehappy:
As for me, I am getting The newest in video gaming consoles (to bad I won't get to open it until this afternoon:ajbemused:.
Merry Christmas!!!!!!!!!:pinkiehappy:

Yesterday was the BIG FAMILY CHRISTMAS for me, where we all went to gather at my grandmother's house to open gifts and hang out with uncles & aunt, nieces & nephew, and cousins that we scarcely see save for such holiday gatherings. It's still not quite the same extravagant affair it use to be before my grandfather past away several years back (our "Christmas Dinner" was just ordering Pizza Hut), but it's still always good to see the family and just hang out a little, even if it sometimes feels like I have less and less in common with them every year.

As for today, today is a simpler thing. My local family (mother, father, sister, one of my aunts, her husband, and their two daughters), will continue our long standing tradition of Christmas at the movie theater. I know will be seeing The Hobbit and likely one other film, though I don't believe any solid choices have been made. After that we might do some kind of meal, likely at whatever restaurant we can find that's open. If I'm lucky maybe I can get my sister to sit down and watch some pony with me (still need to get her to finish the last seven or so episodes of S2).

Step 1: Wake up early, sneak downstairs, and empty out my stocking. (Santa brought me a Pony shirt!)
Step 2: Pancakes.
Step 3: Open up presents with the family.
Step 4: Doctor Who Christmas Special with my sister.

Merry Christmas!

"How will you be spending this most festive of holidays?"

In bed with a blood infection, a sinus infection, an enlarged spleen, and acute tachycardia. :pinkiesick: Happy Hearth's Warming.

I'll be eating chocolate, reading the ten new books that i could for christmas, and then going to see my family (including my grandfather, who will undoubtedly use yiddish insults that only he understands), and watching the grinch.

I'm going to hang out and be lazy and reclusive until the family gets here. Then I'll hang out, be lazy, and wish I could go be reclusive some more.

Flew home to see my family. Later on, I'll see my cousins, and then roast turkey for dinner!

648195: Sorry to hear that. Hope your health improves soon.
