Writer's block.

So I've been out of the writing game for the past two months. The reason being I'm stuck with where to go next?" Part of me wants to finish Family Appreciation Day, while another says there isn't much for Comet to do. The same goes with The Last Roundup. The conflict is too easy for him to resolve and there's no payoff. The next episode I can see him helping is the Super Speedy Cider Squeeze 6000.

I don't know where to proceed from here.

Perhaps keep the stuff about "Family Appreciation Day" limited to passing mention (as you said not much for Comet to do (aside from dig up some dirt so to speak on Spoiled in the middle of discreetly helping her husband with a shady business deal).

For the Last Round-Up, he could find and speak to Applejack BEFORE her other friends get too worried about her prolonged absence, Applejack knowing that, with his super-senses and super-intelligence, he would definitely be able to tell if she was lying or trying to hide something and Comet telling Applejack that their family cares more about HER than about blue ribbons.

And then, yeah, as far as the SSCS6k goes, yeah, something that could lead to the Flim-Flam Brothers becoming his analogues to Lex Luthor (one of them the mad scientist version, the other the businessman version).

Perhaps you could consider having Family Appreciation Day just be mentioned since Comet was unconscious at the hospital for a few days and since a part of you feels like there isn’t much for Comet to do & potentially do the same for The Last Round-Up or think about the suggestion that Comickook made about it.

Or you could probably do a chapter or more about how Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie & Rarity (if she was told about Comet’s secret or not since she was unconscious at the time) since what they think and feel about Comet’s secret since we’ve only seen Twilight & Spike’s reactions on the matter & possibly allow Scootaloo to reveal her powers to them.

As for the Super Speedy Cider Squeeze 6000 I agree that it makes sense for Apple Comet to help out with that & maybe have the Flim-Flam Brothers be the incarnations of The Toyman or Lex Luthor or The Prankster.

Maybe you could write episodes like that like they are entries in a journal comet keeps revealing his thoughts and opinions on what was happening in them.
