I recently received a very bad offer to 'collab' on a comic. · 4:58am August 4th
Hey
I hope you're doing great! I'm CENSORED and I just finished reading your story. I wanted to let you know how deeply impressed I am—it’s truly fantastic!I’d love to bring your incredible story to life through a comic. I’m currently open for commissions and would be thrilled to collaborate with you on this project. Imagine turning your narratives into vibrant illustrations! I’m also excited about the possibility of making this a regular collaboration, where each week, your stories get a new visual dimension.
Looking forward to the opportunity to work together!
Best, CENSORED
Dear CENSORED,
You're "open for commissions?" I'm delighted to receive a commission offer from you, for me to write the script for your new comic! You will have to pay me for your commissioned script in advance, though, and at a rate fully satisfactory to me.
VERY Sincerely, Mockingbirb
It's so obvious that it's a bot.
It's ironic you are getting spam on that story.
Over on DeviantArt, I have received offers of that nature. I laugh it off because my output speaks for itself.

The story's title and long description mention NFTs. I think that's all it takes for the bots to decide it's relevant enough to post a spam comment on it. They are not very smart.
The comic 'commission offer' was sent to me in a fimfiction.net PM, though...and was so generic that I think, there too, little or no attention or understanding was required.
