Yeah, forgot to give this blog series their own title until last night. The previous ones have all been updated.
For what appears to be a traditional drawing, this is pretty great.
I have about four tracks or so left to post from this album (which only amounts to about 8 minutes) so I'll probably take care of all of those next time.

I looked and looked for a decent christmas-themed Carrot Top pic to use for a pfp, but had to settle for photoshopping a santa hat onto this one.
I honestly think it turned out great.

Then I’ll of course need your exacts height and weight (if you can give in centimeters and grams that would be swell). After that you need to give your address, phone number, email, Gmail, google password, bank account, and social security number. I will then need you to tell me where you work, what your hours are, and the name of your boss, as well as your salary (net and gross). Nest I’ll need your bank records as well as you bills and bill information as well as your credit card number. Then I need to know you food preferences, like favorite types of food when you usually eat each meal, how many meals you eat etc. Sorry to bore you with so many semantics, I just need to get this out of the way so when we meet I can go ahead and ask you the personal stuff, you know how it is.
Man, there are so many different ways that I could have fun with this, but I'll try to be serious. One of the best questions that I ever found on someone's user page is "What if you were a pony?" I'll expand on that and ask What if you woke up in Ponyville tomorrow as your OC? What would you say to Carrot Top?

Good, this one I like a lot. Well, I mean, I never didn't like music, but I've definitely started appreciating it a lot more in the past few years. Sorry Gizmo guy, hehe.

Well, about spring '22 I found out about Bluey, and while I never just watched it myself, I enjoyed seeing it whenever younger relatives of mine watched it. The voice actor of the dad on that show is named David McCormack, whose was in a band called Custard in the 90's (that became active again around 2010). I listened to that band a lot starting around November of that year, and was able to buy a few of their albums anywhere from that time to spring '23 (idk exactly when.)
I watched MLP for the first time in March. Somewhere early on I found these two videos (just for context, I expect no one to watch them).
which were PMV's of two Weird Al polka medleys, where he takes parts of a bunch of songs and puts them together, well, in polka form.
I became interested in listening to what the actual songs were, and that resulted (although some came much later) in like three albums from different bands that I bought (though one was one I had already known about for a long time). And I've since gotten another album from one of those bands as well. Bought the two Weird Albums (lololol) as well, though I don't listen to the often at all.
I know Custard introduced me to a few other Australian bands that I own a cd from, as well as a few other bands they simply covered songs from.
And basically, I already liked the idea of getting CD's, so as I found other bands through a variety of reasons, I of course wanted to own their albums.
One of those was Anthropology , yes, the fic, which introduced me directly to two bands, and very, very, indirectly to another one.
There's been plenty of non-mlp reasons to explain this, but the MLP part is important enough to not ignore.
However, ever since I basically started spewing out what I like about music on here, even before my blogs when I just plain asked people what they liked when they followed me, it's been a vicious cycle of music reminding me of MLP and vice versa.
They're almost inseparable at this point.

Probably Rainbow Dash. Boring, I know, but it is what it is.

Well, as I'm a very new fan (Mar '23) I am somewhat biased, but it definitely (at least on fimfic) doesn't seem to be dying out as much as people say it is.
Overrated? I definitely liked it, and everyone should read it, but there are plenty of fanfics, even hundreds, that are better than My Little Dashie. Even the author agrees it's overrated.

Tbh, while I knew Rainbow Dash was popular and all, I didn’t know it was to the extent of being considered a boring opinion, I personally have always liked Applejack and Fluttershy the most.
Also, as for marvel, for me, most all of it was phenomenal, endgame was kind of a mixed bag with me, same as infinity war.
What a shame it ended there an NO OTHER marvel content was made, yes what a shame…

When I asked that question, I considered how I would answer it and quickly realized that technically, My Little Dashie is probably the single most overrated MLP fanfic. The mathematics of it being the most well-known fanfic by quite a large measure (other than "Cupcakes", maybe), make it difficult for it to avoid being overrated.
If you were taken back in time to 2011 and given full control of the show's production, from the start of season two onwards, what would you do differently?

Honestly, I'm not the Mixmaster225 guy, but the only changes I would really make would be to S9. And only a couple of minor things here and there.
And honestly, I was satisfied enough with the ending, I just would have preferred Twilight to not be big at the end.
I'd be satisfied with simply that one change.
Although, more seasons (as long as the writing didn't decline) would have been nice.
Maybe throw Carrot Top in more often just because.

I am only familar with the first four seasons, past that point I mostly just have cultural osmosis to inform me. From what I can tell, the later seasons aren't bad. As long as you keep a positive attitude and focus on the bright side, almost anything can be enjoyed and be found valuable. (I personally view the show as a jumping-off point for a multiverse of posibilities.)
I will admit though; when I asked that question, I was anticipating a restructuring of the show's story structure and narrative focus.

If I was given control of MLP in season 2, the first thing I'd do is bring back Lauren Faust!! No Twilicorn, Cadance would've been a simple unicorn, and the show would've been much better!
After "Canterlot Wedding," I would've brought in Fluffle Puff to reform Chrysalis. Also, if the princesses still decided to retire in the final season, it would've happened after the time skip into the future, when Twi was actually old enough to rule.
I haven't seen anything after season 5, but I do have onions. And opinions. Mostly onions. 🧅 🧅

My self-insert started out as pure wish fulfillment, until it grew into a full story. However, my OC, Cornflower, is largely rich and famous for introducing Equestria to this world's music and movies/TV. His best-selling book is "Groundhog Day," but he prefers his original fiction. F**k, I feel so awkward talking about my story.

I think that general perspective is one shared by many of our brony brethren over the years. The thing about it is that whenever a choice is made to do one thing, the choice to not do a multitude of other things is made simultaneously. Making the show more narratively consistent with the general perspective held by most at the end of the first season would have opened the door to a number of new possibilities, while at the same time, closing the door on a number of different ones. This is not a negative statement, merely an inherent function of the nature of reality and choices. I think that the show could have been taken in nearly any direction and still had a good enough core, guiding concept to be great. But yes, my inner cravings for consistency agree with you.
I know nothing about Fluffle Puff, other than the facts that she exists, is associated with Chrysalis, and is featured in some fan animations.
That looks like a lovely plant to have easy viewing access to.
