I wasn't planning on shooting for any sequels for 'The Gamer Alicorn & Human'. But if it did well enough and there was an interest for one, a sequel was something I would consider. There does seem to be some interest in a sequel going by a few comments, so there's that.
All right, now let's take a look at some stats. Give me a minute.

At the time of this blog, 'The Gamer Alicorn & Human' has 117 likes and only 8 dislikes & has over 1,400 views. It was featured for 4, maybe even 5 days straight & was even #1 on 'da list at one point. It was actually scouted on Equestria Daily (Yeah, how about that?!) and as far as I know, this is my first story to be scouted on Equestria Daily.
So I'm just going to go on a limb and say 'The Gamer Alicorn & Human' did well enough to warrant a sequel!
and I'm thinking of having the sequel be an anthology. But, it would be a while before it's written.
I have a few ideas of what games Eric Reed, Gamer Luna, and Sunset Shimmer(?) would play, and one game being an equivalent of Mario Kart (An idea for Mario Kart came from a comment), but I am open to more ideas for what games they could play. Now, you might have wondered why I put a "?" by Sunset's name. That's because while I'm planning to have her be in the sequel since she's a gamer too, but would you rather the sequel have more chapters with just Luna and Eric, or have Sunset join in too? Or would you prefer her to join in the gaming mayhem for some chapters but have it just be Luna and Eric for other games? What about having other characters join in once or twice? I haven't made any concrete plans on how I will handle things, so any suggestions would help determine how much Sunset will be in the sequel.
In other story-related news, my next story is planned to be out in about a week. After that will probably be the sequel to 'The Gamer Alicorn & Human', but when it will be is TBD, but it won't be for at least the next three weeks.
However, if you want to see more human & Luna shenanigans, may I recommend this story? It's overall quite different from 'The Gamer Alicorn & Human'' and what its sequel is/will be like, but this one is on pace to have romance and even planted the seeds for ''The Gamer Alicorn & Human' to exist in the first place. So definitely think about checking it out if you like human x Luna stories.

Hmm, Mario Kart is always a good choice. Then there's Goldeneye, Halo, Duck Hunt (Sunset and Eric are laughing themselves silly as Luna gets more frustrated by the round).
ooh, how about they play a ponified space raiders, with a moon-based final boss that is nearly unbeatable. Or Q-bert. 😁
I'd say the more the merrier but no matter how many characters there will be this story will be fun
