2024/06/15 Update

whoa, time flies! since my last update:

1. i published a new story!

   i wanted to come up with something for the Dialogue-Only Contest, and this idea came to me last-minute. there's a space between p-value and Long-Distance that is the first conversation Wallflower and Sunset ever have through the journals, and dang, there was a lot to be mined from that as it turns out! and writing it got me really excited for the Wallflower x Sunset ship again, and i really want to write a story where the two of them are just intensely happy together without universes exploding or anyone dying

2. i posted a blog about my Yearly Contest Schedule, with the idea that now the main contest series that I am focusing on will have a set and predictable schedule for however many more years I continue doing this thing.
3. the A Thousand Words Contest III has launched! the only thing i really changed from last year is splitting up the judge panels so that i don't have to ask the same two or three people to read and judge all of the 150+ entries across all five categories. very excited to work with these folks, and to see what this year's entrants have in store!
4. there are other things in progress such as judging for the Science Fiction Contest III and working on an app for Comment Exchange that will make the process more convenient. i am excited by both things but i don't have anything to report besides the fact that they are in progress! as for stories, i am still planning to do my LGBT Pride Month series this year again, and after that i have an EqG LyraBon planned for the Rainbow Rocks 10th Anniversary Shipping Contest. definitely getting back into writing in a big way this year!

oh i definitely slowed down for like a year and a half or even longer lol! getting reinvested like this is something i haven't felt in a long time
