Yearly Contest Schedule

so i've been running contests for a while now! and at this point i would like to commit to some sort of regular schedule. there are at this point three "main" contests that i would like to keep doing on a yearly basis, and in any particular year i may run at most one more "big" contest, for a total of four:

• The Science Fiction Contest: Early March to mid-April
• The Thousand Words Contest: Early June to mid-July
• The MxM Shipping Contest: Early September to mid-October
• The TBD Main Contest: Early December to mid-January

the dates may drift earlyward slightly due to calendar drift, but if i am somehow still doing this seven years from now, i will make the adjustment when needed!

the "TBD Main Contest" will be whatever i feel like putting together in that timeframe, which could very well include not running a contest at all. in between main contests, i may also have smaller-scale contests and events such as my Personal Contest series, but only if i feel like i have the time and energy and interest, which is why the series has lain dormant for a while.

but that will be the full extent of my contest efforts going forward, at least as of this writing! and hopefully that answers a question about when a certain contest is happening :)

Thank you for what you do with these! I really think they've become one of the best parts of the post-2019 fandom, helping to keep ponyfic thriving. Seeing the huge number of entries to the Thousand Words Contest last year really cheered me in terms of how much interest there still is in writing here.
