As many of you may know, I'm planning on writing a Naruto story at some point in the future, with Tempest as the displaced for it, and I have been doing a bit of research into it every now and then to see what needs to be changed before I start writing it. However, there is one thing I discovered that I feel compelled to ask about: how do you guys feel about the possibility of Sasuke dying?
I'm not saying that I'll actually kill him, as I haven't started the story and it'll be some time before that one gets worked on, but I want to get an idea of how people feel about the topic... before I do something that might make the readers upset again.

Ask for Sasuke? Personally, I'm both mixed.
Because in most Naruto fanfics I seen, he most likely to always die. And I can hardly blame the authors, because the kind of douche that Sasuke is, is very insufferable to like.
Because regardless of his tragic backstory after what his brother was forced to do to their clan, Sasuke is still insufferable to like, because he tried to do something way worse than that!
But then again, sometimes even worst but similar people like Vegeta, Shadow the Hedgehog, Bakugo ( MHA ), or even the likes of Sunset, Trixie, Starlight, Tempest Shadow did similar and heinous crimes, and have similar prideful and arrogant attitudes.
But look at them; All of them redeem themselves and became fan-favorites. Well, probably except Bakugo ( MHA ) to most MHA fans. And some MLP fans feel very mixed with Starlight after what she did, like that time travel fiasco for example that endangered the entire world full of innocents, MULTIPLE times.
But that's besides the point, you still get what I'm saying?
Personally, I feel like Tempest might have a connection with Sasuke, being a former villain herself.
I just hope she could potentially humble and reformed him before he becomes worse.
If not, then he will be a lost cause and Naruto/Tempest will have to take him down.
Sasuke dying?

He is a vital part and a reborn aspect of the great sage son. Killing him off would crippling a lot.
It would be easier to expand upon that is already there than crippling the main story.
Tempest Shadow would fit very well into the Naruto saga.
Maybe increase the team size in general by one and fill in blank spots by red shirt characters that don't matter.
Can't say what perks be better, Ushia or Hyuga eye genetic improvement. Unless it's a unique trait she has. Maybe physical adaptation? Example:
Tempest blood line is adaptive upto three times,
Like in 'X-Com Enemy Withhin' she can modify her body with the traits of others.
The drawback could be a higher Chakra consumption.
Instead of long drawn out fight, Tempest has hit and run tactics. Defeat/kill or flee instantly, a build for speed and precision, rather than longevity.
Though out of balance iussue maybe keep it to a limit of 3-5, every genetic perk indise a family tree is a major boon.
Thinking back on the entire series... Hyuga, Ushia have the best eye perks, but there are rare things that can make Tempest shine like the rare ability to use Crystal Jutsu, or from that Sasuke escaoesrk guy with manipulation of his own bones.
There is a lot potencial.

So mutch options, add Tempest to Narutos team would open the main stories elements, using other teams like that of Hinata would open the story to fill in the main story with a story all on your own, occational going along with the main story.
Tempest in my opinion would make a nice medical ninja, kunoichi are rare seemingly in the overall scheme to be main assets, though the series seem to maybe contractors that as pushed some females are.

I don't have an opinion on this, but it should be noted that if Sasuke dies in your fic it would have far-reaching consequences unless you intend from the beginning to exclude every instance of, reference to, and/or connection to the Otsutsuki Clan from your version of events. Keep in mind this would require either removing or recontextualizing Zetsu, the Infinite Tsukuyomi, and Madara's ambition/status as a rogue ninja. There's probably more I'm not thinking of, too.

Kaguya and Isshiki were covered by my mention of the Otsutsuki Clan, as were Hagoromo, Hamura, Ashura, Indra, and even Naruto and Sasuke's 'ninja Jesus powerup' as some fans call it.
5780085 Fair enough. But it seems like you and the others won't have to worry... despite the hate he gets, no one wants Sasuke dead, so at least I know how to go about planning the story now.

Considering about Sasuke's "fate". You all saying that his death will have "everlasting consequences" to the Elemental Nations?
Welp, tell that to the many, many Naruto Fanfiction.Net writers that clearly has Anti-Sasuke, Sakura, Hiruzen, Jiraiya, Citizen Council, and Konoha/Hidden Leaf as a whole, that always most likely gets "bashed', and finally killed or completely destroyed/annihilated by a Dark, Anti-Hero, Anti-Villain, or Full-on Villainous Naruto.
And I don't blame them, because I'm heavily mixed with Sasuke and the many others for their actions against poor Naruto. And I always like their kind of stories anyways.

I know, I'm just explaining about how the other writers from Fanfiction.Net mostly don't like or love to "bashed" dislike characters or places like Sasuke, Konoha, and the others I have listed.
As for me for your story specifically, I just hope Tempest Shadow and Naruto will both actually help Sasuke before he becomes worse like in canon.
5803808 I mean, his team will have an extra member, one whose better than Starting Sakura, so there's always the chance that he'll change with someone other than his current team in his life.

If you want, you could completely write Sakura out of the story with Tempest there. Though whether or not you write her out, might I suggest making Tempest Tsunade's student during the time skip? Learning from Tsunade could be really good for Tempest even if she doesn't pick up Medical Ninjutsu; especially if she retains her broken horn when she's transmigrated despite being de-aged. But whether she keeps said injury or not, the one thing that injury robbed her of more than anything else as she grew up (except the ability to fit in) was control, and control is perhaps the one thing Tsunade can teach that her fellow Sannin (yes, even Orochimaru despite his perfectionist tendencies) can't match her on.
