Simply put, I love this game. I enjoy playing it's campaign, it's multiplayer, and watching it's cutscenes and story. It's up there in my top Halo games, along with Infinite and Reach. The new enemy faction known as the Banished definitely makes things way more interesting, especially how they're stronger than the Covenant. While I never played Halo Wars 1, I still loved the characters who made up the Spirit of Fire's crew, especially Red Team, cause I love me some badass spartans. I like this series so much I combined it with another favorite game, XCOM, even though I never played it lol, into a fanfic. Not promoting it or anything, just proud to announce it.
Regardless, buy this game lads, it's real good. Also sorry for being slow, school just started and already it hit me like a fucking freight train.
I already own the game many years ago, and I do agree that it is amazing game. And ironically, despite being mostly a first-person shooter player. Me playing RTS games Halo Wars 1 and 2 was a blast.
And hopefully getting other good games like XCOM, Command & Conquer, Homeworld, and Supreme Commander.
Then there is turn-based tactics like Gears: Tactics that I have to master soon.
