Group rules are there for a reason · 6:13pm August 2nd
This is a bit of a whinge, but I wonder sometimes whether some people bother to read group rules any more. The Underappreciated Story Society has a clear, short set of rules. One of these is "No New Stories", which is then defined as meaning fics in their first week. As of my writing this, more than one folder there has stories added in their first two days. Given that an author really can't know that fast whether their fic is unappreciated, this undermines the whole purpose of the group.
tl;dr: grumble.
Yep.
And ouch, no admins in that group since 2016.

Well, yeah. The two things are not necessarily unrelated, of course...
we live in a society!
