Hey everyone. So, I've been curious. What is your opinion of Mare? I'll throw this out there, her full name is Mare in the Moon, in case I haven't said it, or you missed it if I did.
So, what do you think of Mare? I'm happy with my creation of her, and I know who she's going to be. What I want to know is how all of my readers see her. Where on the good/evil scale do you see her? What do you think her motives are? What do you think her origins are, where did she come from? Where do you think she's going?
All thoughts are welcome, though please, refrain from pointless arguing. Feel free to debate what you believe, but keep it civil and decent. I will delete comments that need deleting. Enjoy everyone, I look forward to knowing what you're thinking.

I personally really enjoy the internal monologues so far between Luna and Mare in the Moon. The unbridled lust she felt towards Twilight Sparkle kind of scared me a little bit at first but i don't think Mare has any evil plans, at least I hope not.
truthfully, I thought she was either a dark manipulator or a Mary sue at first... but the way she was talking in the newest chapter turned me away from the story... but that's me, I'm just not interested in that kind of story. As a character she hasn't really been explored enough to get a definite personality. If she's the personification of the moon why is she overcome with lust at just the sight of Twilight? How does she turn from being the regretful and wise Mare in the Moon to 'She's sexy and you know it Luna.'?
625717 I'll admit, i was somewhat worried about that reaction. Please believe me when i say, that's not who she is. It's just how she would react in that situation. The story is rated teen, and it will stay that way. There won't be any sex even hinted at in this story. Sorry if it turned you away.

625782 You didn't and I'm glad you brought that up. I know that was probably a little risque for my story as I'm keeping it, I was trying to show the disconnect between Luna and Mare. For now, all I will say is that one of best analogies for those two is they're two sides of the same coin. I do hope you continue reading.

First. I like the conversations between Luna and Mare, they give the story such a beautiful life of its own between the two. Especially good is that you can make as many thoughts about Mare. It is constructed damn interesting so far.

I have no problem with mare and that she finds Twi sexy. She's just a little more animalistic side of Luna, and that makes her even more interesting. ^.^
(Just Imagine a conversation between Mare and Celestia over Luna and Twilight's relationship.
And that with Mares direct way to say what she thinks.)
I think at the moment Mare is a neutral good with a small surplus Chaotic righteousness Charakter, to quote the beautiful old RP games is ^. ^
And I personally hope that it stays that way too. You could do so much from such a character ..
As its background I can imagine well, that Mare could have tried 1000 years ago to assist Luna and has progressively taken her negative emotions , until it was too much even for her, and then she became NMM.
As their anger and the pain was too great and she was already too much poisoned of it she started to seduce Luna until she has her an extent that she had control over her body whether voluntary or not, Luna does not longer had the strength stop her.
"Where do you think she's going?"
Since she was purified from the EOH where one can not know (that only you know as the author) how far as that goes, the following would be my thought.
If the Mare theoretical approach should really be "good", one would have to think about how to continue to proceed with it, for me she could not remain permanently in Lunas head .. It would only make them insane again.
After all, she has her own thoughts, motivation, needs,will etc. In short she is a private Individum inside of Luna.
Maybe you could separate them with EOH or a spell from each other?
Just like the Luna and Mares leg would influence personality?
I could go for hours ..
* Ok ok this is crazy ^ ^ and not even near canon, but it would be good material for a Seidstorry or a 2nd part.

626909 Thanks for the reply. And you've got an interesting take on this whole relation. I agree that they can't stay the way they are now, and I will be addressing that.
As for issues with your post, mainly just spelling, and grammar conventions. English is a hard language, even for native speakers. Don't worry to much about it.

Ok ty it has been years since i wrot this Much in English and now I have to lern it again.
But i like it. It's even sound better and it is easier to read then German. And thets my native language.
Oh and ty for asking all thet questions, as far as I can see you are the first one thet has ask something like this about one of his characters.
