Hey loyal readers and potential new clients, I'm writing this blog up today to officially open up commissions for my writing! I've got a lot of larger projects in the works, but I don't want to keep my account barren for another year, so I've decided to open up comms to any interested party.

So getting right into it, let's talk limits and prices. Limits on what kind of material I write and how much of it there would be will have to be discussed with me in dms. I'm amenable to most things, but if it's nsfw content, the pricing rate will be a bit higher and depending on the type of content, might end up posted on my alt. That is, I will do nsfw work and I'll even write some more unsavory and problematic content, but exactly what I will and won't write will have to be discussed privately. Suffice to say, most things will be allowed.

As for prices! My rate is around $25 per 1000 words or around 2.5 cents per word. This rate goes up to around $30-35 for nsfw content depending on what degree of depravity I'll be doing. Payment is upfront through my Paypal. However, here's a cool little bonus from your best pal Ruby: I'm not too hard and fast on word limits. In other words, if you pay me $50 to do a 2000-word story, and I go over and make it 2500 words, I won't charge you any extra for that. Sometimes I can't help but continue a story, but I cannot expect one to pay for extra words they did not sign up for. Just a neat little bonus if I happen to like your commission!

Why is your rate so high? I happen to think that my talents are worth it, and this pricing really isn't above the standard pricing for writing commissions.

Can I comm you to do fixfics of other stories on the site? No.

Can I request that a commissioned story remain private? Absolutely! If you want me to write something personalized for just your eyes only, then I can do that with no questions asked and no extra fee involved!

But like, do I HAVE to pay up front Yes, I'm not going through the work of chasing down and housing payment for services rendered. This should be easy stuff people.

I want to commission you, but I don't really have a coherent story idea. Can I still commission you? Yes!! If need be, we can brainstorm ideas about the content and direction of the story! I'm more than happy to do so.

But what if I have a very specific plot in mind? If you have something you've been sitting and stewing on for a while, then we can totally discuss it out! Moreover, I can send you a link to the google doc with the related work, and you can comment on particular changes. However, you only get 5 major changes before I start charging $2 for each one. I understand that you want a very specific plot and I can work with that, but at the end of the day, I am the writer writing it and it will inevitably have my voice telling the fic.

What if I want to commission a sequel to one of your fics? I've been asked this before by a few people, and the answer is yes hahaha! If you really want me to commission a sequel to one of my works, that's fine, but I can always reserve the right to reject the proposal.
