Hey, guys and gals and nonponary pals! As many of you know, my Pony writing has been on hold for a couple years while I dealt with the finale of my 14-year webcomic Skin Horse which finished its run last year! I've been sweeping up a couple of other projects on the professional side, including the last two crowdfunding campaigns to keep volumes of the strip in print. As you might suspect, it's rather easier to publicize a crowdfunding campaign when you've got daily readers tuning in--but after a little under a year since the strip reached its successful conclusion, we don't have as many daily views, so it's harder for crowdfunding to gain traction.

We've currently got a little under a week left on the latest reprint campaign, with a bit over $3k to go to keep physical volumes in stock. In the full interest of honesty, there's a possibility that our crowdfunding provider may allow us to wiggle the deadlines and goals, but it would be ideal if we didn't have to do that (and it's not a guarantee anyway). Zoop is an all-or-nothing platform, so it does behoove (ha, a horse pun) us to reach the mark, and one of the tiers includes a 12,000 word original story written by me in the Skin Horse universe, delivered digitally with all-new illustrations by Shaenon. It's about artificial intelligence! Kind of. It's hard to describe. Look, you'll just have to back it to find out.
