First of all, let me extend a sincere thank you to everyone who donated and/or signal boosted my ko-fi for rent January of 2022. You guys came out in spades and helped me, my mom, and my sister out of a pretty tight spot. Ironically, we ended up getting evicted in August of last year, but that was because the renting market in Hawaii is especially draconian. We got evicted, and then not a month later we saw our former place being advertised for rent triple of what we had been paying. I'm living with my dad now, and everything is secure as far as my basic living needs go. Once again, from the bottom of my heart (shriveled and black though it may be)—thank you. 
Now, time to get down to brass tacks (tax?)—I need help getting to Britain to visit my fiancé.
Mackstack and I have been partners since early 2017, and last year we officially got engaged! Really exciting stuff. I love that lil fucc like you wouldn't believe. However, Mack is British, and I live in Hawaii. Quite literally other sides of the planet from one another. So taking trips to visit one another can be expensive, to say the least.
The caveat of this is that I do have some income. Unfortunately, the only liquid income I have is from commissions. I do work for my dad's business but the work I do goes to cover cost of living expenses only; ie, I don't have to pay rent or for food or for gas when I borrow the car to do errands, but I am not paid any money I can use to say, buy a plane ticket to visit my partner. I understand this is a luxury; I only get to see Mack once a year about (barring a global pandemic, anyway), and he's gone and visited me here in Hawaii the last few times. Thus, it's my turn to go visit him. I've never been outside of America in my memory, and not only is this a chance to visit Mack, but also a chance for me to go somewhere new and travel abroad.
All that said, I am fully aware this is a luxury, and I am more than willing to reimburse anyone for their donation! The main issue I face is the time crunch. Mack needs to notify his work eight weeks in advance for the time he wants to have off, and plane ticket prices become exponentially more expensive. We want to beat the British holiday rush in late July-Early August, and it would be less feasible for him to get work off at any other time than July. I apologize that the first actionable content in months from me is a donation blog. I'm in a bit of a time crunch for this and I really appreciate any and all help willing to be provided I've got another story that should be going out sometime next week, it's a bit of a longer one that has some moving parts I needed to juggle properly. I foolishly thought it would be ready back in December of last year, completely underestimating the actual amount of time I needed to write it properly. More stories in the works after that too! I'll also probably watch G5 at some point and see what bubbles up in my head for that as well.
