How to write a bad crossover · 7:36pm Apr 16th, 2023
Welcome to the fourth episode of Howto write a good bad stories. In today's episode we'll look at how to properly write a crossover.
-Pick an interesting character from an interesting universe, but don't bother with the interesting stuf. The bare minimum will do just as good. Turn said character into a pony for some extra uninteresting.
-Make the character forget most of their personality traits, a generic self insert personality that doesn't care about all but the most important of his values will do nicely.
-After some struggle (but not too much, because conflict is the least important part of any stories, the few conflicts from the beginning of the story will be more than enough. And don't forget that all characters should get what they want on the first try with struggle what so ever) and time (but not too much time) the character should be seamlessly integrated into pony society without any major complications from either sides. Mostly because of how very not alien literal talking friendship ponies are.
-Bonus points if draw some unrelated parallels between unrelated things that have nothing to do with each other. Although this point is nit required.
-And finally., ship the main character with someone. It doesn't matter whether the character has shown interests in love before, just do it. Don't let your dreams be dreams and JUST DO IT.
