All's Fair in Love and War 2 · 3:33am Apr 8th, 2023
Hey everyone. I know it's been a while since I did one of these, and I'm sure many of you are wondering where the hell All's Fair 2 is. Well, as much as I'd love to tell you that it is coming next week or something, I simply can't. I've ran into a bit of a snag with the story and basically had to rewrite almost everything I'd written. So rather than being at about 15 chapters done like I planned by this point, I'm only working on chapter 11 right now. So that sucks.
There is good news though. I'm in the process of moving right now, which has slowed progress for a few days, but after that I will have much more free time to write the story. Combine that with the fact that I actually know what the fuck I want to have happen in the middle half of the story, and I hope to get a lot more done now. It is my hope and goal, to start posting the story within the next 2 months. The goal has always been to write 20 chapters before uploading, so I can post 2 a week and then write one a week, and keep that going until I reach 35 chapters, which is about what I plan this story to be. It might be a bit shorter, or even longer, depending on how in depth I get at certain points.
I just want to say, please be patient and don't forget about the story. I'm doing my absolute best to give you guys something amazing here, and I can honestly say that I am super proud of how the story is going now. The characters make more sense than before, the story progresses smoothly, the plot actually moves at a good pace, and the jokes actually land, I feel.
So there's your update, guys. I did not stop writing, the story is about half way to being ready to post, and I also have coverart that is nearing completion too. Depending on how things are going, I might possibly just start posting once I get the coverart, but we'll see. I usually manage 1 chapter a week, but with the extra free time I have now, I will try to get maybe 2 a week.

Take all the time you need. We love your work but also understand that you have a life to live. We also understand that things don't always work out how you want them at first. All the time and effort you put into this just tells us it will be a phenomenal sequel to a story we all loved.
