Five Nights At Freddy's hits theaters on October 27th, 2023! Out of every single video game film adaptation to come out, THIS is the one I'm the most excited about. Scott Cawthon wants to make a film that will make us fans happy, and I think he'll accomplish that! Blumhouse Productions are the masterminds behind the film, with Universal Studios distributing it!
Mike Schmidt (Josh Hutcherson, The Hunger Games film series), a troubled security guard, starts a night-time job at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, a family entertainment center, where he discovers its four animatronic mascots (Kevin Foster as Freddy Fazbear, Jade-Kindar Martin as Bonnie the Bunny, Jess Weiss as Chica the Chicken, and Kellen Goff as the voice of Foxy the Pirate Fox) move and kill anyone that is still there after midnight!
The film also stars Matthew Lillard (Scooby-Doo, Scream) as the Purple Guy himself, William Afton/Springtrap, a sadistic serial killer under the alias Steve Raglan who debuted in Five Nights At Freddy's 3, Elizabeth Lail as Vanessa Shelly, an officer who assists Mike, Piper Rubio as Abby Schmidt, Mike's little sister, and Mary Stuart Masterson as Jane, the aunt of Mike and Abby. Balloon Boy, a smaller animatronic who debuted in Five Nights At Freddy's 2, is also set to appear in the film.
