The Equestria Element of Empathy

I remember that it was said that Sunset Shimmer was the seventh element in the Human World, the Element of Empathy. First, that is pretty fitting for a reformed villain. Second, it made me wonder who would be the Element of Empathy in Equestria, and the one I thought fit that role right was actually Starlight Glimmer.

Starlight has many similarities to Sunset, in fact before I realized Sunset was from Equestria I thought Starlight was her counterpart, and fits a role like her in Equestria. Like Sunset she is a reformed villain, I actually liked her role as a villain more than Sunset, and like Sunset she became very close to the Mane Six after being reformed. Also like Sunset she had a strong sense of Empathy which helped really reform Trixie (who wasn't evil anymore but was still very flawed) and helped reform the Changelings. Starlight also has a pretty strong connection to Harmony considering she didn't have an official element.

I find it to be an interesting thought really that if there was an Element of Empathy in Equestria it would be filled by another reformed villain with a close connection to the other elements.
