But I did get to spend the day with my dad so I’ll count that as an absolute win. Just wish I could’ve enjoyed the food more!
Dark Souls 3 · 2:22am March 19th
I have beaten Dark Souls 3 baby! Let me just say that I can't believe it took me this long to experience such a masterpiece in video games. The music, atmosphere, lore and gameplay are top notch. I haven't played any of the DLC yet, so that's my next goal. And before anyone asks, Elden Ring was my first shot at a Souls like game and I managed to get pretty far but never beat it. I reckon soon I'll get around to finishing it.
I wish I could recommend Dark Souls 3 to everyone, but kinda like Death Stranding, I just can't but for different reasons. Death Stranding is a slow, cinematic game where the story is center focus. If you're not on board with that, there is nothing for you. But it's still an incredible game. With Dark Souls 3, if you can't get your mind around the punishing combat loop, this game will not do anything to help you. And by that alone, it's not for everyone. But the world of Dark Souls 3 is incredible. Every area of the game is gorgeous and I found myself just staring at some parts for a while.
Soon I shall finish Elden Ring and then do the other 2 Dark Souls games!
