New C&C chapter 33 will launch Friday night

I’m giving it enough time to finish prereads and a couple more editing passes, as well as making a T-rated version once I’m satisfied with the M-rated one. The title is simply Reunions for now, unless I find something better. Meanwhile, the second half of the previously enormous chapter I broke off from it is now approaching 11k words. I’ll aim to have it draft complete this weekend, and launch it a week after the first half. So you’ll get a two C&C chapters in (relatively) quick succession.

For the second part, which has a working title of Clearing the Air, you’ll get a very tense and heated confrontation between Gilda and Cipio consuming the first half of the chapter followed by the intervention of Queen Lepidoptes in the seemingly intractable dispute. She has her own perspective on what happened, and you can bet she’ll have a few pointed (but tactful) things to say to each of them, as well as a means to directly show them what kind of Hell the other has been through in the past day.

Neither is fully in the right or wrong here and in the end, they’re ultimately going to have to meet each other halfway once they realize that. But getting there is the trick, and that will require some special methods of mediation by the Queen. Yes, it’s going to end in sex, but I again emphasize that this time, it doesn’t involve Gilda except as an observer. As for what happens, let’s just say that you really don’t want to offend a Changeling Queen and drag Gilda for lack of self-control when that Queen already knows you intimately. To say nothing of being perfectly willing and able to reduce you to the same state you berated Gilda for to make a point.

So yes, this coming chapter will be M-rated as well with a separate T-rated version. I’ll try to give a teaser for it early next week. And after this, it’s off to writing a new chapter of Eros where it’s time to finish off the viewing of the movie Midway. But more on that later. In the meantime, be looking for the new C&C chapter on Friday night.
