whelp, been awhile since I did one of these.
anyway I got good news, bad news, and worse news. The good news is that I have finally finished the training for my current job which I actually want to turn into a proper career instead of the seasonal jobs and side hustles I've been doing for the last few years. The bad news is that it along with a bunch of other things have happened or are still happening that's taking away my motivation to write, the main thing taking away my motivation and time to write is my job's working hours which is 12 hours long for a single shift, and the fact I only just now got my work schedule when I was supposed to get it like a a month into the job.
For context I've had this job for 4 months.
Either way that's that own thing but I'm going to go ahead and just say what the worse news is, I'm going to stop writing for a....bit. I know it doesn't seem like I've been doing jack shit, especially with my inconsistency with carter's story, but I have been writing other projects, if you've known me since I first joined the site, I turned out 2-3 short stories a month, however they were never really well received.
Which is understandable, they were absolute dogshit.
Over time I learned how to properly write a story, have decent grammar and punctuation, and one of the things I learned was to not post the stories when they weren't ready. So I've been spending a lot of the writing time I set aside each week bouncing from project to project and only getting about 500 words done before my brain just stopped working.
Anyway that's just the long story of it, for short and bitter story, I'm going to put carter on hiatus and stop focusing on writing for awhile.
You good my guy. Honestly, kinda the same here for me with the writing on my stories. Just little bits on both my posted and unposted stories when the creativity strikes me in my free time.
