I wanted to let you know that a story that a lot of you have been waiting for for a VERY long time now is FINALLY ready for release! Which one you ask? Well, I'll let the following speak for itself. (It's set up like a movie trailer)

"........After a straight three minute walk from the rear car, Ryan comes face-to-face with the legendary former Union Pacific "4-8-8-4", Big Boy locomotive 4014. The locomotive measures an eye popping 85 feet (25m) in length, 11ft (3.4m) wide and measures 16ft (4.94m) tall. The locomotive's class was the only locomotives to have the 4-8-8-4 wheel arrangement which the 4014 was named after, with two sets of eight driving wheels, a four-wheel leading truck for stability entering curves and a four-wheel trailing truck to support the large firebox. It's coal tender can hold up to 25 tons of coal, and 25,000 gallons of water. The locomotive's body and hull plates were replaced with 150mm Depleted Uranium-Titanium armor plating. The plow that sat between the front body and leading truck was replaced with a 200mm composite armored ram designed to counter the TCA's Mobile Derailers head on. mounted on top of the locomotive are four MK.18 dual purpose railguns placed in two two-gun turrets with a SAM Launcher in between. A 30mm C-RAM anti-aircraft gun placed on the front platform and six horizontal fixed railguns are placed on the sides in two three-gun turrets. The tender is outfitted with the same armor plating as the engine but the 25,000 ton coal hopper was removed to make room for a custom built armored box vertical missile launcher that will hold four tomahawk launchers, while a 250,000 gallon tank car will replace the 25,000 gallon water tank, which will now be used to give the crew an additional source of potable water. Prior to coal shortages, military scientists have spent months developing a prototype atomic boiler that'll replace the "4-8-8-4"s aging boiler......."

"........Union Pacific Big Boy 4009. There never was an engine like Big Boy. Even today, our beloved 4009 is something to be admired. I mean heck, 4-8-8-4 wheel configuration, 136 feet end to end, 1,200,000lbs. empty, 60in. wheels, a top speed of 80mph, capable of pulling a 5 mile-long train on flat ground, and a tender that holds 25 tons of coal, and 25,000 gallons of water, what's not to love? I mean, now that we've given it some modifications, and it pulls the Battleship Express, the Futas have started calling it 'Death's Train', or the 'Express from Hell', but it's still lovable, right?"
The engine's front cowcatcher had been removed, and replaced with one of solid titanium. Its edges were now sharpened enough to slice through steel like it was flesh, and multiple metal spikes were welded to it as well. Got something blocking the tracks? No problem! Just plow through it, or over it! Also on the front of the engine, on the platform just above the cowcatcher, just behind the headlight and the number plate, and in front of the front of the boiler, sat a modified pillbox. With 4 machine guns, and a crew of 2-3, it protected the front of the train, but was a severe health risk. It was supposed to have been removed ages ago and replaced with a phalanx cannon, but we never got around to it. The glass in the window frames of the cab were removed, and replaced with bullet-proof glass, and on the cab roof was an AA gun, and two machine guns. Also located along the sides of the boiler were two forward-facing 8in artillery guns, and the metal of the boiler had also been better modified to serve as armor........"
They fought through so much in their wars, trying to bring peace, only to wind up in Equestria, where more horrors of war awaited them. But eventually, the War against the Great Griffon Khans, and the Imperial Alliance were over, and peace was restored.......or was it? The Futas arrived on Equus, and lurk in the shadows in the Undiscovered West, but what if they're not the only ones........?
Now, in 2023........Prepare for the journey of a lifetime.......

".......That's just it Acting-Admiral, I got nothin'!......"
"........That train doesn't match any known train in our database! However it's paint scheme, numbering, and lettering all match those of a locomotive that disappeared during the Battle of Vegas in WW6, almost 269 years ago!!!....."
"........Daryl, get Iron Glory off the mainline, and get back to Ponyville, NOW!!! We'll handle this!....."
".......This is Major Don Curry of the Battleship Express, flagship war-train of the Railway Warfare Division. We demand your immediate surrender!......."
"........This is Acting-Railway Admiral Ryan Homer of the "4-8-8-4", flagship war-train of the Unified States Railway Warfare Corps, and we demand YOUR immediate surrender!........"
".....Wait! Stand down, I repeat, stand down! They're Americans!......."
"Stand down, everyone! They're Americans too!........."

With the clouds of war rising, and shadows falling on Equestria, 2 unlikely allies must now join forces to defeat enemies old and new.......

And yeah, it can. It's been sitting in that station for almost 5 years now. I hatched the idea for it back in 2018, writing didn't begin until late 2019, and over the course of 2019-2021, there were constant setbacks and delays as my then co-Author Iowa failed repeatedly to meet the deadlines that we set, and kept pushing back, until he left FIMFiction entirely, and without any warning about a year ago, leaving me to rework the story on my own, thankfully with help from my good friend "Terry the Human". And now it's FINALLY ready, at least the Prologue-Chapter 2

I just wish that "To2BB" was doing better, as so far, it's off to a pretty rocky start. I'm hoping that this is because of Iowa's work, which is what pretty much everything written in the story so far has been, with the exception of the Battle of Kansas City scene in Chapter 1, the explanation for how Oregon was liberated in Chapter 2, and a few other bits and pieces which were written by me. From Chapter 3 onward, the rest will be written by me, and actually be in Equestria, which I hope will finally turn the story around
