Hey y'all, I just wanted to let you guys know that for the next little while, this story will be put on hiatus and I'll explain why in a second. This is not me abandoning the story or anything like that. Things are just going on in my life right now where I must put it on hold. I hope you all can understand.
Q: Why are you putting the story on hiatus?
A: I am putting this story on hiatus because I am currently writing a book and I simply cannot do both at the same time. Considering the topic I'm writing about here, it will take a lot of time and research in order to write this book. Plus, with work and school added on top of that, I simply have no time to write this book and this story at the same time.
Q: How long is this story going to be on hiatus?
A: Frankly, I don't know exactly. I'm hoping to finish it before the end of the year, but that's not a guarantee. Writing a book takes a lot of time to gather research and actually sit down and write the story as well. In other words, there is a lot of thought that goes into a book and it cannot simply be done overnight. I am pulling from many different resources to write this book, so it will take up a lot of my free time and I don't want to push out bad quality chapters just so I can meet the status quo. I would be completely overwhelmed and I don't want to put that much stress on myself.
Q: Are you going to come back to this story?
A: Absolutely! Once I finish writing the book and publish it, I will definitely come back to finish this story. I am not like some writers on this website who say that they're going to finish a story but never do, or start a story but never finish it. I don't do that. Part of my personality is I finish what I start. If I don't finish something, it will irritate me to the core and the feeling won't leave me alone until I finish it. So, you'll never have to worry about me abandoning the story at all.
Q: Can't you simply write both the new book and this story?
A: Like I had mentioned above, my schedule has become too busy where I could do both and it's come down to the matter of getting rid of one thing so that I could do another. So, in this case, it would be suspending this story for the moment so that I could write this new book, which would probably take all of my free time because I am trying to make it as accurate as possible. As a result, it leaves me no time to continue writing this story at the moment and I must put it on hold at the moment in order to complete this other task I have going on.
I hope you all can understand why I'm doing this and this is only temporary. Once the book is published, I WILL come back to this story. That's a promise. Congrats on the Kansas City Chiefs successfully defeating the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LVII in Glendale, Arizona. It was a great game and I'm excited to see what next season holds.
