Pros:
#1 I like it. Good n quiet!
#2 I can live and have the house however I want, and I'm a slob.
#3 I can pick all the food since I'm the only one eating it.
#4 Don't have to worry about annoying any roommates.
#5 You have the sole call of deciding things like cable, internet, etc.
#6 More that I'm too tired to think of right now.
#7, and just maybe the best of all; no fighting over what topping to put on pizzas!
Cons:
#1 No roommates to play games with. Playing games online helps offset this when I feel like playing online.
#2 You must pay all the bills and rent yourself.
#3 Simliar to #1, o roommates to talk to if you felt like talking to someone; talking to yourself gets both old and weird.

Too pooped to wonder why Sunbutt's breaking the 4th wall, so #4 is having to take care of the house yourself.
#5, and the one I'm currently especially aware of: if you get sick, you pretty much have to take care of yourself and drag your butt out of bed when you gotta eat. I'm almost fully recovered from a cold I caught around last Sat, but I was hit hard on most of Sunday, and I looked not too unlike how a certain book-loving alicorn did at one point...
I wasn't sneezing magic though a horn (due to I don't have one) and had no Spike to tend to me, but what I did have was a pounding headache for much of the day. And to top it off; I was already suffering from a sore back, so all that was "fun". Luckily, some medicine I was able to take late in the day helped greatly to calming down that headache down. Mon-Wed mostly had me in bed, but I made process each day and other than just not having all my strength back and can tire out easier then usual, I'm almost back to my old self.
So safe to say, I've done next to no writing for almost a week and haven't really read over that same timespan. So these two things are going to be some of the first things I'll do when I am fully recovered.

Well I do hope you get to feeling better entirely. Yeah living alone has both pros and cons but I'd say in the end the pros win out....then again I'm kind of anti-social so naturally I'd say that.

Another con: you not only have to do the cooking yourself, but you also need to clean all of the dishes.
