I know the feeling. Last year, I found out the guy who made the Menagerie Trilogy (GameJolt page here) committed suicide four years beforehand. Proper hit me where I lived, that did.

I've been down that route too but a combination of having so many ideas running through my head and starting stuff only to stop working on it because I was either busy with other stuff or simply wasn't in the mood for it kinda resulted in me being more lax about whether or not I leave anything unfinished.
