Real quick announcement: last night, I input the text for chapter 4, but when I was done editing, I pressed "Publish" instead and accidentally published it. I unpublished but forgot that some people will still see an update in their feed for the story, but they could not read Ch4. I think most of my readers have figured this out by now, but chapter 4 is up now and was republished some time before noon and is able to be read.
Well anyway, let's talk real quick about Spike's family! I've been waiting to reveal these guys for a while, but it actually wasn't supposed to happen till probably the end of the first season of FHS. I got the idea to make Buttercream Spike's sister not long after I developed her in summer 2021, but it wasn't till about a year ago that I started drafting the idea for "Go North, Young Dragon". I even had to insert this story into the upcoming stories roster. I did designs for his parents and three other siblings. Some of you may follow me on Deviant Art and have seen the designs, but in case you don't, here they are:

Well I guess that's all I can say really. I'd rather not tell too much about them since you guys already know from reading the stories, but I upload character bio cards and a slew of other designs for the characters in Flurry Heart's Story. Well it's because they're younger. Singe would have looked as young as Spike was throughout the show at the time they were both eggs.
