Finished Fic! · 2:28pm Jan 7th, 2023
Hello, dear readers!
I'm happy to announce that the several months long project of Dashing Through Paranormalities has been finally finished! Oh boy, didn't I expect to turn it out this long and, as someone said regarding my stories, escalating. Of course, this fic isn't the fundamental basis of my A New Empathy-series, as it relies occasionally on New in Canterlot City—mostly regarding how the Containment of the city started. Speaking of, Dispose of Carefully stole my containment ideas! How dare he uses my ideas and— Alright, jokes aside, it's the SCP-Foundation, anything different is the exception and the author did a better job regarding that. I highly recommend checking this fic out
Nonetheless, my fic built another basis regarding the "Scissor Events", something that (honestly speaking) took for me too long to find a believable cause—not even speaking how I still left mysteries regarding that. Let's see if someone gets to solve the (so far) few puzzle pieces together already
I think what I'm trying to stay is that with working on this fic, it forced me to stick to a fundament that the series will later build upon towards the finale. Not only that, now the Foundation is also in direct interaction, and we got to see (partly) their perspective and motives regarding Equestrian magic. Many things have been established, and the conflict is waiting to be resolved in the sequels
Nonetheless, with the fic being finally finished, it became one of my favourite fics I have written, something that I can say I'm proud of—of course, without RB_ helps it wouldn't have been as good as it is now, so be sure to check out their stories!
Sure, it isn't as successful as my other fics, but that doesn't matter—this series is just something I want to explore, to write and, if I'll get to it, to finish it. It feels good to change the Imcomplete-status to Completed, and seeing to what it has evolved too. The Epilogue should also give enough teasers on what the series is coming to, so be sure to stay tuned—or not
All in all, I want to thank again everyone who read, liked, faved or even commented on this story. Response is feeding the author's motivation, after all. I wish everyone who stumbled across this post a good time and everything well!
