Health issues are continuing to wreck havoc with my productivity, and I thank all of you for your patience. And I understand that such matters are not your primary concern, it just... really vexes me.
But anyway, Chapter Five of The Last Changeling War is now published, in which certain personal demons are finally laid to rest.
After this, Equestria's rulers will gather for the first Council of War they have called in a long, long time. And for the first time in most ponies' living memory, their military will be sent forth.
And after that, dear readers? After that, the war itself awaits, threatening the end of both changeling and pony life on Equus.
And through it all, mad Chrysalis' laughter echoes down empty halls of cold, dead stone...
But first is the final leg in Sunny's recovery from the horror of the Castle of Friendship's destruction, by her own hoof. And, perhaps, a vital step in her greater journey of healing overall.
Only time will tell.
