Dear God, A Decade… · 9:53pm Jan 2nd, 2023

Heya, Folks!

So this morning Rambling Writer kindly reminded me that today is my ten year anniversary of being on Fimfiction. That's friggin' crazy. I wish I had done something for the occasion, but with everything that's been on my mind lately with my medical stuff and my still-newish condo I really haven't had the time or energy. Maybe I'll be able to do something belated, but I'll say the same thing I told Rambling:

Things are at a weird point medically since I have a good idea of what's coming up soon (cancerous tumor removal surgery yayyyy…), but I'm still waiting to hear final results from my first hospital (I got a second opinion from another which ended up actually being my first opinion…) to double-check that surgery is the right way to go and not do chemotherapy again. I'm supposed to hear about that on Thursday, but I want to try and nudge them to talk to me about it sooner. If I do have the surgery, there's going to be some serious recovery time, and I definitely won't be writing during that time. If I end up doing more chemotherapy like last time, I dunno, I managed to write a good chunk of Through Crimson Eyes…

Either way, at some point my writing energy is most likely gonna drop even more than it already has, but hopefully I'll bounce back easily enough, just like I have with everything else. I'll try to get done what I can before that inevitably happens, but no guarantees. In the meantime, I'll definitely be hanging around and doing a lot of reading.
