Obligatory Monthly “Not Dead” Post · 7:43pm Dec 30th, 2022
With this year coming to a close, I figure it’s time for me to give my monthly update post.
So, I haven’t been on FiMFiction much, fewer ideas mean I’m not really as active as I was at the beginning of this year. I do have to say that my attempt at releasing a story every month has been a success. Not only did I manage to keep that intact, but I also managed to write some pretty good stories this year, too. While I’ve had many misses, I’ve been writing a little this year.
This month’s story, however, may be out a little late. It’s an event, and I need to wait for the event to conclude tomorrow before uploading my story. However, if it is late, I will make up for this by releasing two stories in January.
Oh yeah, I still plan on keeping this whole “monthly upload” thing as long as I can next year. They’ll most likely all be one-shots, but I’ll try my best to keep my 40 readers who’ve stuck with me beyond my features entertained. However, I have gotten a job, so we’ll see how that pans out. I don’t plan on going to college for another couple years, because firstly, my interests lie in an experience-based field, and secondly, I don’t want to accrue $40,000 worth of debt for two years of college.
But back on writing, both my next stories are going to include Thorax, but I might write some postmodern nonsense for February, so be on the lookout for that.
In addition, I am working on a really big project. A project who the 530 people who looked at my 1960 Billboard Breakdown thinking it was something else (I presume) will appreciate. That will also have its own caveats, I will discuss that upon nearing the finish of the project, little under halfway done so far.
So that’s really all I’ve got going on this month. I know people don’t usually read these, but I figured it was worth stating anyways.
Oh my God, I forgot my sign-off tag, I greatly apologize for forgetting that.
